NZFW KAHURIA 2026
KAHUI COLLECTIVE SHOWCASE

The Kāhui Collective returned to New Zealand Fashion Week Kahuria 2026 with its biggest Indigenous runway showcase to date. Led by founder Kiri Nathan, the show brought together 16 Indigenous designers - eight Māori and Pasifika brands from Aotearoa and eight international Indigenous brands from across the Pacific and further abroad.
Each designer was given the opportunity to present six looks, bringing together very different stories, cultures and approaches to fashion within one collective runway.
For my six looks, I created a collection called Made With Love, based around the idea of love languages - the different ways we express, receive and recognise love. I wanted to interpret that through my own design language, looking at love not only romantically, but through family, culture, memory, humour, giving and the things we make for one another.
Each look became its own expression of that idea, while still sitting together as one collection: Made With Love.
